Stevie P.
Mon Atelier
Hello world. Stir team here, back with another delectable digi release for your selective ears. Number 11 brings Stevie P. back on the Stir radar with Mon Atelier. His sophomore EP for us boasts vibes that are as deep and melodic as they are freaky and quirky. Found is a fairly linear head bobber with crisp closed hi hats carrying along a subtle acid squelch. For those on the more convulsive tip we give you Kwantum, with several passages of blipped out madness and snappy drum hits you just cant go wrong. Simpled Out is just that. Grinding and punchy bass, envelope sweeps and rolly 808 snares make for one of the most effective tracks here. Finally Stevie drops Painting, an ultra funky gutter tech bomb with slutty vocal backtalk and a grumbly sub bass summing up another luscious EP from us to you.
