Purple Voices Remixes

It’s on and poppin’ with StidDigital #12.  Now we’re bringing you another great round of remixes from Fancie’s Purple Voices EP [STIRD003].  StirSound staple artists Yin Elek, SDL and Ian Funk are joined by British newcomer Audio Dependent for a deliciously diverse swim in the purple.  A track that got continuous response in many club settings is now remixed in four different directions.

Known for his work on Metroline LTD, Audio Dependent kicks this release off with his straightforward and enveloping percussion melded with funky synth textures and rebounding blaps.

StirSound daddy, Ian Funk gets things wiggling with his rework by adding some skitzy hi hats and a twittering back and forth melody/harmony throw down that sings atop a jabbing rhythm section.

Enjoying his success with his last collaboration with Sarah Goldfarb on Roman*Photo, SDL gets a little shadowy.  His haunting drums, sparse programming and eerie repetition give the track a cryptic and spooky demeanor.

Last, but never least is Yin Elek’s ultra techy and spaced out revision.  Going more towards a deep techno sound, he utilizes Sci-Fi synth work and subtle yet knocking drums to tell his tale of the big room bold.
