Always fresh and upfront, Acid Lemon Juice (Del Cutler & DJ Tavares) have hosted their own club nights at venues across London including Industry in Shoreditch and Whitechapel’s Q-Bar. They have held residencies on Internet radio stations Worldwide FM (UK), Dance FM (UK), Loud FM (Germany) Soul Connection FM (UK), SS Radio (UK) and on Brazil’s first Internet TV station Groovechannel .
They made their first International club appearance in October 2005 at the legendary Tres Pinheiros club in Portugal, a gig which secured them a signing to Portugal’s Hands at Work DJ agency.
As well as competent DJs, Acid Lemon Juice are creative and innovative producers. Their debut 12″ White Label featured a bootleg remix of the Tori Amos classic Professional Widow and gained support from many DJs across the UK and Europe. Their debut production Brickwall was released on Oryx Music in November 2005 and gained support from Piliavin & Zimbardo, Mastik Soul, Oliver McGregor, Jon Butler and The Deepologists.
In 2006, they released a second track on Oryx as well as a 3-track EP on Canadian Label Pertin_nce.
In October 2006 they launched 32 Bit Records which is emerging as a microcosm of the finest minimal techno & tech-house. 2 new sublabels – 32 Degrees and 32 Hard – soon followed and all 3 labels are continually gaining in popularity with releases from established names & hot new talent!
