Tony Ashworth :Drums and Percussion, Keyboards and Production.
Chris and Tony were previously part of the ‘Post Punk’™ band Tunnelvision who during the early Eighties were connected to the Legendary Manchester based Factory Records label. During this time they played alongside the likes of New Order, Section25 and the Stockholm Monsters amongst others and have recently had retrospectives albums released by LTM Records They reformed in 2003 and released the single ‘Anyday’™ before once again parting company.
Now known as 4m (pronounced ‘Form’™) and based in the NorthWest of
England, Chris and Tony are seeking a new musical challenge with a change in direction to a more electronic based sound incorporating live instruments to develop a cinematic, natural feel creating lush, emotive soundscapes reflecting their influences and surroundings. In July 2006 their first release was a one track free CD called ‘PSV’™ for the Manchester magazine ‘Scream City’™.
Born out of a friendship lasting over 27 years and a shared love of making accessible, original music without being pinned down to one particular genre, 4m are looking to release new material in the near future and collaborating with other musicians on various projects
