Welcome to StirDigital number 4, wherein contributor Pablo Rez (Force Sense, Opossum, MiniSketch) and StirSound head, Ian Funk (Metroline LTD, Neovinyl) go head to head remixing eachother in our first StirDigital Versus release. The result is a mind warping dance floor EP if there ever was one. Mr. Funk's, Shimmuhdiddy gets us bouncing right out the gate with an uber elastic sub bass, beeps, and tones that'll make you rethink the whole idea of "shake and pop". Weaving Ian's blipper-blaps in and out, Pablo takes an already bouncerific jam and manages to push it into heaving man-sized territory.
Keeping with the bleeped out muscular theme, Pablo delivers the throbbing Hidetoshi. Now, when we say its got enough kick drum to knock the wind out of a T-Rex, we mean just that. In true form, Ian comes thru to sprinkle some funk in, on, and around this dance floor monster with some shifty hihat wiggles and little rearranging for your clamy little DJ fingers.
